Silkscreen printing

Besides pad printing, silk screen printing is one of the most significant processes for printing plastic parts and works according to the silkscreen principle. The printing plate is composed of a finely woven textile and starched on a solid aluminum frame.

On this woven textile, there is a stencil with color permeable and color impermeable areas. Compared with other printing processes, the application of paint is five to ten times thicker.

Printing flat surfaces (flat printing, ‘Plandruck’) is a strength of this printing technique. We apply silkscreen printing to print plastic parts plain or multicolored.
