Corrosion protection

The term ‘corrosion protection’ is generally understood to describe preventive measures that contribute to protecting materials against aggressive substances (gas, liquids). The aim is to limit corrosion as well as corrosion damages. On the one side corrosion protective measures make use of primers (containing zinc phosphate pigments), which are applied by thin layers. On the other side thick layer systems, which contain micaceous iron oxide and zinc dust are used, too.
