Titanium-zirconium

The titanium-zirconium pretreatment is a non-toxic treatment for aluminum parts, casting parts, and forged parts. In numerous cases, pretreatment with chrome (VI) can be replaced by titanium-zirconium pretreatment.

Aluminum parts pretreated with titanium-zirconium are providing an ideal adherent surface for a subsequent painting or coating.

In addition, this pretreatment provides a temporary protection against Corrosion before the further processing takes part. Moreover it is insensitive to temperature and improves the weldability.

It is a convenient product for conversion treatment of aluminum and aluminum alloys as well as other light metals.
