Paint stripping

During the process of Stripping, old layers of varnish are removed from the surface. They will be removed with the aid of high or low temperature, mechanically or by suitable chemicals.

Chemical stripping

During the process of chemical Stripping, parts will be stripped by a temperature of 80°C to 90°C using the immersion method.

With reference to the base materials a distinction between steel, light metals and ferrous metals must be made. In the case of steel parts a defined mixture of chemicals consisting of lye, water, and solvents will be used.

For light metals and ferrous metals only pure solvents (free of water and lye) will be used.

With an useable container volume of 240m³ parts of a length up to 6000mm, a width up to 1300mm and a height up to 1800mm can be dealt with.

The advantage of chemical Stripping is the gentle treatment of the work pieces. Removal, fatigue and warping of parts can be excluded completely. As a result, the expensive maintenance and security-related parts (eg. grate) do not require a regularly check on their stability.

Thermal stripping

The parts will be stripped at temperatures of 380°C to 430°C and the Lacquer will be separated in its organic and inorganic components.

Carbonization gases and flue gases, which accumulate during this process, will be fed to thermal afterburners and disposed for at least 800°C in an environmentally acceptable manner.

This treatment is highly recommended for well varnished parts and in addition it is a lower-priced alternative to the process of chemical Stripping. We provide two industrial plants of 6000 x 2400 x 2100 mm or 1000x900x1000mm. The combination of various treatments is possible, too.

Experience has shown that the Stripping of old paint layers is advisable and in most cases absolutely necessary before a new painting.
